Kakainggit ng liquid assets list mo! Mine really took a hit during the months when I wasn't getting paid yet in my new job. I'm rebuilding savings and adding to my stocks and index funds. If all goes well, they'll be back to normal even before the year ends.

One of my regrets now with my blog is that I made myself too easy to identify, that's why I can't publish my numbers for safety reasons. If I could do it all again, I would have made it anonymously so I could write about my net worth confidently. But come to think of it, I have been able to help out a lot of friends through my blog, so maybe it was all for the best.

Thanks Jill. I also took a 17% hit sa stocks. Pero since long term naman ok lang. I look forward to your next post as I am an avid follower!

Nakakainggit nga. We have a negative net worth. It’s because of the two home purchases (condo unit and townhouse) which were both funded by mortgage loans. We are planning to rent out the townhouse for it to become a self-liquidating asset. Sana talaga next year, positive na.

This is inspiring! Congrats! May 1 million goal din ako sa cash and investments. One day, I'll get there dahil determined ako at nagpa-practice din ako ng simple living. :)

This is the story of my journey towards financial  independence.    My coming decade and a half of blood, sweat and tears in order to break free of the  yoke of having to live from paycheck to paycheck toiling away for 40, 50, nay  60! hours a week just to pay the bills and take vacations with the family.   The next 15 years will be fraught
with many, many financial decisions of which I plan to navigate thru the best way I can and and at the same time, slice off a sizeable percentage of my income towards saving for retirement.
I am Jun Anatalio, a 36 year old call center professional that
has decided to take his fate into his own hands and venture to retire in 15  years from today.  My hope is that  whoever gets to read this can share in the pain and joy of becoming a millionaire the slow and difficult way.
PS.  I am not affiliated with any Financial organization (other than being a customer).
