A niggling thought in the back of my mind roared to the forefront---"this is all temporary, as I get back to my stressful job on Monday".
Even worse, the thought came true as I am now back at work struggling and slaving through my day to make the company that I work even richer than it ever was. I had to get out, and I had to save up. I read somewhere that Pinoys don't really plan on retiring or even saving up for retirement until they are around 50 years old. I was pining for it at 37.
I read somewhere as well that you can retire if you have already saved 25 to 30 times your annual spending. Which means that in my case, I need about 25 million after I pay off my house and another property I have been making mortgage payments on.
Today, before I go back to work, my mind is laser focused. I NEED to save 25 million for retirement any way I can. I will do anything to get this done in the fastest way I can short of robbing a bank or imitating Mr Binay's MO.
Here's to the 25m target my readers! Here's to early retirement.
